The WID spend a significant part of the summer together on the water racing against other breast cancer survivor teams, and community teams. The team explores these experiences of camaraderie with zest!

Organized and hosted by team members, WID continuously strive to create interesting ways to exchange fun experiences and raise funds while also raising awareness about their purpose.

Blessed with some of the BEST coaches around Montreal, this is a really fun way to spend a Saturday! The main focus is on technique, strength, and explosive power!

The West Island Dragons have a special interest in community based volunteering opportunities. WID have a driving desire to volunteer at events that support an active, healthy lifestyle.

The WID have attended multiple events oversees. The next big adventure will take place on the shores of Lac Du Bourget, in Aix-les-Bains, for the 2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival!

The West Island Dragons dragon boat team achieved a milestone in 2023 as it celebrated twenty years as a volunteer run organization! Members, past and present, joined in celebration of this accomplishment.
